Saudi walk way....a fun way!

It was friday morning in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I  try to check the walk way my friend told me. It was the walk way around the King Fahad Medical City. It's around 3 meters wide walk way with colored brick paved way finish. and a concrete designed seating with peebles finish. Every early in the morning and late afternoon, more people are in the walk way to do brisk walking exercise. There's also a palm or dates tree that sorround the walk way. You can hid in the shadow of the dates tree from the bursting heat of the sun.

The Immigration Gate going to Bahrain

This is the Immigration Gate of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Of course they were so strict in the area. Before you can enter the gate, a Bahrain soldier will check your documents and passport.

View of the Island Causeway

This is the Island Causeway of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. More commonly named as boundary island.

The Causeway/Man made island of Saudi Arabia

After we toke a little rest, we again drive around and look for the causeway, we ask from people we have passed by, because all of us are new in the place. We ask about 7 Saudi nationals, and were glad thier nice and honest. They give us direction that we follow. As we came near to the place we can saw the bridge but it was blurry because of the fogs. As we came near to the bridge, a saudi guard ask us what's our business thier. We told them we just want to see and experience wants in the island. The guard told us to pay an entrance fee of 30 riyals. Then we drove directly to the island. It was so nice to see the island. More nationalites was thier indians, pakistans, bangladesh, turkish, saudis, bahrains and filipinos and more. Thier was restaurants, small malls, and i am surprise thier was MC Donald food chain there.

Then we went to the Watch tower with restaurant on it. It was so nice to see the entire island and the blue arabian sea around it.

Me at the bridge!

When me and my friends go check this island. We travel 5 hours from Riyadh to Al khobar, the location of this famous causeway in Saudi Arabia. It was so tiring. we departed from our villa at 10 pm. We  drove to Al khobar with an speed of our car from 140kph to 170kph. Its my first time to experience to drive a car with that speed. The weather was fine at that time. As we drove along, we have passed 6 boundary check points. It was scared though but we still continue. In our travel, we only have one break, to sip a hot coffee because it is very cold early in the morning.

As we reached Al Khobar, that was 3:30 early in the morning. We parked our car on the side of the road to wait till the sun rises and take a rest.

As the sun rises, we drove to find a beach. where we can take our breakfast. We drove about an hour. At last, we found a beach near the half moon beach of Al Khobar. Then we toke our breakfast and have a little rest in the clean and white sand beach.

The bridge going to saudi-bahrain causeway boundary island between the 2 country

This is our trip to the famous man made island/ causeway between the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain kingdom. This is a joint project between the two kingdom. Each nationality can travel to each country by this island causeway/boundary. If travelling with an airplane is hassle it's natinalities can travel to its others kingdom by passing through this causeway by thier car. And travel with thier passports also with them, because an immigration police/guards will check thier passports before they can enter the island.

Tower Cranes...

Today constructing a high rise building or structure would not be possible if without a Tower Cranes. It is driven or operated by a professional or highly trained crane operator. The operator must be alert or must be exact on what he is doing because just one false moved by him it will be desaster. The tower Crane might collapsed or might bang on the building or the structure as he moves around.

Tower Cranes again....

This Tower Cranes are used to transport materials from the ground to the top most part of the building constructed or as needed to the floors constructed. This cranes made the materials transporting easier for the construction.

Tower Cranes... are nowadays visible in all around saudi arabia

As i walk around Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you can see tower cranes from all sides of the city. It's because of the vast construction works for the city. I think the kingdom has more construction activities than any other cities or place around the world today.
